Dr. Taher worked in the Planning Sector at the Ministry of water Resources and Irrigation for a period of up to 32 years. She reached the position of Head of the Central Administration of Water Resource and Uses in the Planning Sector. The main task of this position is to supervise the planning of water resources and the uses at the level of the Arab Republic of Egypt through several projects funded by the Government of the Netherlands , USAID and World Bank to support with the latest models and technologies in this field and to reach the optimal planning for those water resources and uses, which help decision makers in managing the Egyptian water system.
